FreelanceInvoice is a document-creation tool. It helps you format information that you provide and calculate invoice totals, but it does not verify whether an invoice satisfies the rules that apply to you or your client.
Not professional advice
Nothing provided by this website is accounting, bookkeeping, tax, financial or legal advice. The sample invoice, default wording, calculations and educational content are general information only and may not fit your circumstances.
Local requirements are your responsibility
Invoice, record-keeping, sales tax, VAT, GST and business-identification requirements vary by country, state, province, industry and transaction. You are responsible for confirming the required fields, numbering rules, tax treatment, currency, payment terms and retention period in every jurisdiction that applies to you.
Taxes and calculations
The tool does not recommend a tax type or rate and does not decide whether tax should be charged. Review every amount before sending an invoice. Rounding, currency rules, discounts, partial payments and contractual adjustments may require treatment different from the general calculations provided here.
No filing or electronic invoicing service
FreelanceInvoice does not register your business, submit electronic invoices, transmit invoices to government platforms, file tax returns, report transactions or make payments on your behalf. Downloading a PDF is not the same as completing any legally required electronic invoicing or tax-filing process.
No guarantee of acceptance or payment
Creating an invoice with this tool does not guarantee that a client, payment processor, tax authority or court will accept it, and it does not guarantee payment. Your contract and the applicable law determine the parties’ rights and obligations.
Use and review
You are responsible for reviewing names, addresses, dates, invoice numbers, descriptions, totals and payment instructions before using or sending the generated document. Consult a qualified professional if you are unsure about your obligations.
